Conker
What Peter Moore (CEO of EA) had to say about Yamauchi's passing: Mr. Yamauchi was the definition of a visionary. His willingness to unapologetically think differently defined Nintendo and the world of interactive entertainment, and captivated millions of game players along the way. All of us owe thanks to Mr. Yamauchi for the wonderful industry that we have today. Nice enough, right? Well, here's why it bugs me: Oh, hey, sucks you died, man. Thanks for all you did, etc. Also, I still hate Nintendo and it can still fuck off and die for all we care. Still no EA games for Nintendo consoles, lol! That's what he might as well have fucking said.
Spire
What a sad truth. I almost don't want to believe it because Moore's condolences are well worded, but yeah... Isn't he a new head CEO though? Or has EA's support (or lack thereof) for Nintendo been of his collar?
JamesAndrewHarris
While the words seemed nicely written and some-what sugar-coated, I agree with you Conker, he might as well of said that.
Conker
Isn't he a new head CEO though? Or has EA's support (or lack thereof) for Nintendo been of his collar? I think Peter Moore is the guy being replaced. His successor, in my opinion, looks like a suave James Bond villain (or just a sinister brodude), but he doesn't have anything to do with the Nintendo thing, I think. Seems like Moore's doing. Maybe that can change with the new guy?
