Aye, Merry Christmas to all! I have had a rather sad Christmas so far. Had to put one of my ferrets to sleep due to kidney failure. But I'm not gonna lose my Christmas spirit, and wish you all a great one all the same!

Sorry to hear, but that happens any time of the year for different people. That's life. At least your ferrets went peacefully~  :3

 

My Christmas is full of family issues, but I've become more humble and less materialistic in my latest years. I get the cheap gifts, which does bother me when my cousins get $100 worth of gifts and I get $20 of gifts. Doesn't stop me from enjoying my life.

I got 110$ US dollars. Most of it went towards puppy food, dog toys, and treats already. Gonna use what I have left for a pack of smokes and a cheap guitar amp. Got a guitar for free from a total stranger at the flea market... seen he was selling guitars, and I hadn't played guitar in about 6 months and asked if I could play. After about a half hour of talking here and there while I played he gave me a rather nice guitar with high quality pick ups in them , and he said "Merry Christmas man, you love playing too much to not have one"  it was super awesome of him ^ ^

I got a bracellet and a pretty huge and awesome desk. Mom and dad also said they'd pay me something that's worth fifty bucks, since they'll pay for the smartphone my brother wants to get, so that nobody's getting any special treatment... I don't actually care if he's getting a pricey cellphone as a present, but oh well, might as well take that chance xD.

Awesome stuff guys. I got offered a big basket of chocolates, truffles, and goodies. Sadly I had to turn it down though, I'm allergic to all of what was in it (sugar intolerance and I have reactions to processed products). Lately there's been a sugar allergy reaction with me... I had three tiny pieces of deserts one day, and I got puffy, and I had a sugar rush reaction where my heart was racing. I'm not even obese and I avoid junk food throughout the year.

 

My reaction to certain sugar products lately is scary. I feel amazing without too much sugar in my life though. I LOVE dark roast coffee with 100% Arabica beans lately, and I got a big can of it earlier this week.

 

I also have some cappuccino mixes, and plan to make my own home-made ice cappuccinos with it. So yummy!

I seriously hope you're putting some maple syrup in that cappuccino (should you ever get over that sugar allergy), or else I'm not willing to call you canadian anymore! xD

I got... uh, what did I get? Sorta technically a 15€ Nintendo eShop card and the Madoka Magica manga volume 1 - already some time before Christmas, but we're counting those in -, then a sweater and some sweets. And I suppose my brother's new 3DS XL's Club Nintendo registration card, for me to use in a NoE giveaway via which I got Super Mario 3D Land from the eShop for free, because he had actually gotten a physical copy of SM3DL with the 3DS. And my mom still owes me a T-shirt I want from J-List; we couldn't get ordering and payment sorted out in time for Christmas...

 

Presents and stuff aside, I'm just glad to have been with my family again, after some half a year of not exactly finding the time to visit. Was fun ex. being around my little brother (8 yrs) and playing with him - both in real life and in Mario Kart 7 -, or watching the whole first season of K-ON! with my mom... Really sucks that I had to leave already, instead of staying until January 4th or so. Need to be back at that job orientation thingy whatever on the 2nd and I didn't really wanna stress myself with packing up, taking the bus(es) back to my place, etc. on the 1st, after celebrating New Years the night before.

I got Christmas money, and guess what I want to buy? Without thinking I ordered ED64Plus. Looked around, found out it's a pirated copy of Everdrive 64 1.0. I was hoping for some kind of deal because it was at $99.99, and shown in some videos to work on US N64 consoles just fine.

 

So, called my credit company to cancel the order, they sent it to "pending" as of 1am on Sunday. I am not happy.

 

They say it will be canceled in 3 days if the payment isn't taken, and if it is taken the guy can be tracked down. I think Kritzz would LOVE to get their hands on the people illegally copying their cartridge.

 

The guy at superufo CLAIMS he/she already sent the package today (e-mail sent at 3am -5 GMT, superufo is Hong Kong +8 GMT), but I sent the e-mail to cancel during Sunday, and I went to bed around 11pm. The person should have received the e-mail at 9pm in my time, 10am in their time (office should have opened 10am monday). I got an e-mail at 3:51am with the owner claiming the package was sent, then another e-mail (automated no-reply@superufo.com) at 5am saying the payment was not found.

 

I call shenanigans on this bastard, and notified my credit company today about the matter. Basically assured me the payment will be canceled in 3 days if not processed, and if it is taken to their account, they'll track them. I also asked them about the policy on the website:

 

15. Return Policy
If for any reason you, the customer, decide to return any unopened product to Superufo.com and there will be a 30% restocking fee. Also, you would not be credited for any freight incurred.

 

The guy from the credit company assured me if the guy charges me for it, they'll deal with it. I also notified them that this guy was creating fake products from an existing product, no details given. I also e-mailed Krikzz today. I don't know what legal action Krikzz can take (given flash carts might be illegal enough), but regardless this is an opportunity to get this wank caught. I told them to cancel my order and this fucktard sends me it without confirmed payment? BS.

 

On top of this bullshit, it's Hong Kong. Yup, looking good China, looking good.  >_>

 

(ps: coincidentally my Kapersky is picking up random files being sent to my computer, and a trojan. WOO, bring it on bitch.)
