CM30
Part of a new level, Military Nightmare (5-1): This is the first part of the level, a city absolutely obliterated by an ongoing war. The second part will be a hellish factory/warehouse area filled to the brim with missiles, explosives and robot enemies. Now all I need are some Metal Slug style soldiers...
CM30
Oh hey, some more stuff: Second level will probably also have a spot light effect in addition to the underwater HDMA...
CM30
Part of a militarised factory area: The Mr Tuff one is a non military factory, in case you were wondering. The tiles above were previously used in Industrial Nightmare from Mushroom Kingdom Fusion, and were posted for me by the developers in response to a request I made. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uCX3w3iw7g
CM30
Quick GFX update; graphics for Gravity Gauntlet: They're from the last Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse game on the SNES. All castles in worlds 1 to 4 will use graphics from those games.
CM30
A spring in your step (heh, jokes): Yes, that window will show part of the level background at some point. Just need a better background, since the rip someone made of this level's background is terrible.
CM30
Updates: Mummipokey boss. What's not shown is how epic the battle is, he burrows underground, shoots stars from the ceiling, sends projectiles flying across the arena, and at the point shown there, rises up from the ground and starts rapid blasting magic at Mario in mid air! Rice Beach. Wario Land reference! Playroom Panic. Tiles are from Castle of Illusion. Water castle. I so need some more background details here... Just something I was messing around with...

CM30
Oh hey, what's this? An ice level? There's also this. Can anyone guess what it is? Well? See this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rknpRtpyfBk It's the boss intro screen from Mario & Luigi Dream Team. The plan is that for each normal and sub boss, you'll get... 1. A room with this music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFGYFysGhns 2. A view of the boss, which you approach... 3. The above intro scene 4. (if a major boss), a boss intro with subtitles like this: 4. Boss fight!
CM30
Okay, this is gonna be good: http://www.smwcentral.net/?p=section&a=details&id=9321 Lunar Magic 2.3 is now out. It allows for easy layer 3 editing inside Lunar Magic itself, as well as two more graphics slots on each overworld submap. I am SO gonna take advantage of this. Come on, better looking maps? Two layer backgrounds? What's not to love?

CM30
Well, I've got some bad news. This game could be half cancelled. Basically, the person who was helping with ASM has quit the scene and apparently lost everything on his computer. So that means unless I can find a new ASM programmer/coder in a short period of time, I won't be able to finish the last few bosses and more interesting custom enemies. Still, I do plan to finish what I can. And there will be a demo released with every level shown in the screenshots, as well as some semblance of an overworld. CM30
Back with more gfx and level updates: Shouldn't be much longer now. I just need to finish up these levels I started, add in the bonus levels in world 2 and 3 and do a few other things, and then at least a demo release is possible.
