Double post, I know. But, I have an update. Its something with the Mirror Shield and Master Sword models (both for sheath and actual sword).

So, here is all the hex for the DLISTS. I don't see anything out of the ordinary, but let me know if you do please.

Right now, its just the sheath. I will post the actual sword and mirror shield when i can.

...it's not the mirror shield, please post the torso display list, and it should start with DA 38 00 03 0D 00 00 40.

If your torso doesn't have DA 38 00 03 0D 00 00 40 before it, that might be your issue.

DA 38 00 03 0D 00 00 40 is what reads the tunic color code from memory during runtime, mainly a global value of some sort.

Unsure of the details, but it is the 0D that determines where it's reading from.

Yeah, so looking at Adult Link's "skirt" in OoT here... his DList goes like: DA 38 00 03 0D 00 00 40 D7 00 00 02 FF FF FF FF E7 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 at the start.

You need that DA 38 00 03 0D 00 00 40 before the D7 00 00 02 FF FF FF FF.

The list you provided doesn't appear to have that either... Since you say the only time it does it is when the mirror shield is equipped, I assume the torso must be the Limb adjacent to the Mirror Shield, causing it to read the combiner from the mirror shield.

Just double-check, and make sure the other tunic parts have it as well.

If you need help converting it, sadly I'm sick this week, and I've only been poking at 2 things, and watching videos lately.

However if you upload the file, I can take a look at the data sometime.

EDIT:

There's also DE 00 00 00 0C 00 00 00, which seems to be missing... but I'm not too familiar with it's use outside of texture animations.

Ahh. Okay, thank you. Yeah I've been playing around with the model a little bit. Unfortunately, I don't know how to add the DA command without screwing up the reading for the rest of his display lists. I will get the file uploaded tonight and post a link.

EDIT:

Here is a download link for my current ROM Imported version of MM Link. Fair warning: Its a patch I got from someone that somehow managed to make him work by just porting his ZOBJ from MM to OoT and than fixed it up as good as he could. That's why I am probably having the issues that I am.

Hey. Been a while since I posted here. So, I have figured out what the issue is that's causing the tunic discoloration. There are FB Commands in the Mirror Shield and Gilded Sword display lists. These FB Commands prevent the Mirror Shield and Gilded Sword from changing colors with the tunics. Is there a way to fix this without deleting the FB Commands inside those dlists and causing the sword and parts of the shield and scabbard to change colors with the tunic?
