Ruinous Shards Logo Poll

Hi All!

 

I tried to make an actual poll but couldnt figure out how to add images, so I will do this here. I have 2 logos (so far) and want to know which one you like best. Keep in mind to consider all aspects before posting your vote:

1) Aesthetically pleasing

2) Congruity with the name of the mod

3) Lasting Power (will it still be cool in a year)

4) Does it have that special something?

 

Feel free to add comments about each one as well. Ignore the size of the logos. Obviously we can make them larger or smaller.

 

Here are the 2 logos (they will be referred to as LogoA and LogoB so please cast your votes accordingly)

i think that both logos are nice but i think LogoB would look nicer in game

B is far simpler and will probably import more cleanly.

B is nicer, but I do love the little shard in the "Ruinous Shards" subtext.

Although I'm not sure it would work for LogoB... so yeah, I'd stick with B.

I have put in a request for the artist (CDi-Fails) to see if he can make a larger logo so I can import it

actually, the logo you want to import is 160x160 pixels so a bigger one would do nothing.

I know this texture is split into smaller pieces. Anyone know the dimensions of each sliver?

nah, use CloudMax's Texture Explorer and go to "object_mag".

Right click and import your image!

Hmmm... the "The Legend of" and "Ocarina of time" logos are not working out. If I clear the textures (simply erase what is there so they are blank images), they come up as blue boxes...

 

Any thoughts on eliminating those?

Replace them instead with actual PNG files that are nothing but alpha.

I am being a little picky and for that I apologize, but CDi-Fails, can you give me a larger copy so that I can scale it down and hopefully maintain a more crisp image in game?
