CruisnEma
I want to map Cruis'n USA WAD D-PAD to control analogs, like with the emulator Project 64, 'cause in the N64 rom, the D-pad buttons does not work correctly. There is a way to force the D-pad to use analogs or a way to switch D-Pad to analog with the WAD structure?
sairugoth
Reroute the controller's buttons to the keyboard. Then use "joytokey" to rewire the buttons to the controller how you want them. joytokey - http://joytokey.net/en/download
CruisnEma
Sorry but I can't understand, that tool can map buttons in the WAD to install the virtual console game on the WII?
Arcaith
sairugoth misunderstood you. As to whether the abstraction in the WAD for the input bindings on the Wii can be changed, I have no idea. But I expect there'd be a part of the WAD that handles it since some N64 games have different bindings depending on the game. So it should be doable, but I have no idea how.
CruisnEma
It's a pity. XD
CruisnEma
Someone else know at least in the uncompressed WAD in which file is stored the mapping? Or otherwise controls mapping structure in an N64 wad? Maybe I can search matches with an hex editor. I want to re-map the D-pad to use it to control the left analog stick, is necessary. Acelib
There's probably something in the .wad file that controls it that could be changed one way or another.
