Soul glanced around, before a strange roar seemed to grab his attention, as he looked to the side, finding some kind of dark looking ship at his side, as the title, 'Niddhog' was plated on it in golden letters.

"Well... I think we found our soul stealing dragon, Kid..."

Soul went over, and snatched Kid into his arms, before jumping into the air, cradling him close, as he hit the deck hard with his feet, before carefully setting the Grim Reaper down... with the fog everywhere, it just seemed to make the ship feel a lot more spooky.

"Do you sense the souls around here, Kid?"

Soul carefully opened the door, as he looked inside the area that seemed to be making his arm throb the most, as he gasped at what he saw. The entire room was filled with soft glowing blue souls... showing that they were the souls of humans who had theirs taken away by kishin.

"There's a lot of them..."

Soul noticed as Kid lifted his hand, ready to safe guard them until he could get them to a safe place, as the cocking of a gun was heard, as Kid found it pointed at his face.

"What's this? Are you a Grim Reaper?"

Soul reached out before the Gun was fired, as it tore a bit at the older boy's cloak, since the scythe pulled him out of the way.

Soul nodded, ready to transform into his scythe form.

The pistol weilding raggedy man, did not think that was going to happen.

"NIIDDHOG!!"

Vibrations suddenly seemed to go through the ship, as the boards under Soul's feet seemed to disappear, as his eyes widened, things seeming to go in slow motion, as he saw the other's golden eyes widen at the sight of his partner falling, before time seemed to catch up, as a yelp escaped him, and he vanished further down into the ship as the floor boards closed back up, leaving Kid alone with the strange looking man, who was busy chuckling about it.

"This ship is my body, and my body is the ship." His snickers were becoming unbearable. "All I have to do is digest the little punk."

"Haha! That little weakling has nothing to do with this. No... I'm talking about the kishin that's right next to you... that's who I've gathered these souls for."

----

Soul was looking around the ship, not liking being around a place that was completely dark.

"Ugh, I hope that Kid is okay... whenever he's alone, he's not as secure as when I'm there... I just hope nothing makes anything asymmetrical, or he won't be able to deal with it..."

"Hahaha, it's nothing a child like you would understand. This ship and I have things to do, people to see. We're going places together, me and this ship. Out at sea, there are lots of people awaiting to hear the song of the Kishin. Most people are alike, they all crave power in one form or another. Some, no amount of earthly power will satisfy. They always hunger for more."

The Kishin monster had one of the souls caught in his hand, as he ran his slimy tongue against it, causing Kid to flinch inwardly.

"It's humans like these who are seeking the Kishin. And these souls that you see here are my own offering to it. They're not for you, boy!"

He pointed his gun forward, as he took two shots at Kid, which ripped his cloak completely off.

----

"Agh... did I get lost.... Kid, where are you...?"

Soul whimpered... was he even going the right way?

"You're getting close, just keep going forward."

"Hey, thanks, that's so nice of you... !! Wait, who said that?!"

Soul turned around, though he didn't find anyone behind him, which was starting to make him panic a little bit.

"O-Okay... that was freaky, I could have sworn there was a---"

He turned his head, only to be face to face with a little ghost girl who looked no older than 10 years old.

"AH!" Soul moved backwards, as he fell on his ass.

"I'm a spirit of a girl who was eaten by this ship... don't worry I'm not going to hurt you... if you follow me, I can take you back to your friends, okay...?"

"You're not gonna try and eat me or something then...?"

"I have no reason to eat you, just trust me..."

Soul shivered a little, before he surrendered to the idea of being led around by a ghost.

"Alright, I'm right behind you."

She smiled, and floated ahead of him, as he hurried off behind her.

Kid, I'm coming! Please don't do anything stupid until I find you!

"Running away won't do you any good~" The Kishin laughed as he slipped through the floor as if it was water.

Soul slowly slipped onto the deck where the little girl had taken him. He glanced around, finding that there was no one in sight.

"You sure you didn't bring me up here so you could eat me?"

The ghost glanced over at him.

"Will you stop asking me that question?! That's the fifth flipping time!"

"Alright alright, no need to shout... geez. Temperamental girls are not cool at all..."

"It's not my fault that the stupid Dutchman tossed me into the bottom of the ship, leave me alone!"

Soul muttered stubbornly, though a little smile was visible on his lips.

A sickly annoying laughter showed up, as the strange looking kishin appeared out of the floor once more.

"You're not going to get away!"

Soul walked over to Kid, as he gripped his hand.

"Let's get this over with!"

His body glowed a deep blue before his form changed, as his scythe form took over, as Kid gripped him in his hands.

Before the not so epic fight scene could start between Death the Kid and The Flying(Floating) Dutchman, a sword was flung through the air, easily piercing the sail as well as through through the upper half of the Kishin's head, leaving it impaled onto the wooden floor.

*What the hell was that?*

Soul was stuck watching in his weapon form, as a thin looking child walked over, and gripped the sword in his hand, and pulled it out of the kishin's body body, before slashing it once more, nearly looking like he was losing his balance... was the sword's weight really that much? He quickly sunk the sword into the floor.

"Ragnarok..."

Soul seemed to shudder a bit at the sight of a mouth appearing in the sword.

"Scream Resonance."
