Zeth Ryder
http://www.gonintendo.com/?mode=viewstory&id=157828 The apparently late 2001 "Ask Sam" interviews from Zelda Power - anyone else remember them? - ended up as a news article on GoNintendo today?! Sorry, but what the fuck? Eh if I remember correctly, "Sam" was supposely someone who worked at Nintendo but was later confirmed to be fake? <.<His information sounds sketchy as fuck and this is probably where all the Unicorn fountain and the blade beam attack rumors came from....figures... Edit: Also skimming through the shit this guy is spouting, first off the Great Deku tree did exist back in Zelda64, there is even an early promo that shows him, second of all, the lost woods he mentions were called the Maze woods back then. I spent a lot of time researching real creditable resources, this is about as fake as this gets. Furthermore, the medallions didn't warp you either, the medallions actually gave you the power of the spells of the goddesses do in the final game. Proof can be seen via the shadow temple, the fire medallion is etched right in the pedestal outside of its entrance. Also I like how he calls Zelda's horse actually malon's horse when we see Zelda ride off on it in the first scenes. God the lies really urked me. Forecast
Well yes, it was. For about 3-5 months of development it was intended to be in game. However, Nintendo took it out because it wouldn't have made sense in the final planned game. Please be aware that this game changed a lot during first six months of development. So much was done that was lost later on (including dungeons, weapons, locations, etc). The only place you could get Triforce was at the end of the remade Zelda 1 dungeon. That whole dungeon was a test so it probably wouldn't have been used anyway. You honestly cannot get the Triforce in the final version of Ocarina of Time! The only truthful words ever spoken by this guy.
