Yu-Gi-Oh: Bonds Beyond Time review thing

Recently I stumbled across a movie called Yu-Gi-Oh: Bonds Beyond Time. The story in a nutshell:

It basically has to do with a time traveling masked dude from the future that wants to kill Pegasus (the guy who created duel monsters) because he feels the game ruined his future and took the people he loved away. This masked guy steals cards from Jaden and Yusei, then goes back in time to a tournament that Pegasus is showing up at to kill him. Yusei, Jaden, and Yugi (well, the Pharaoh of course,) team up to defeat the time traveling murderer.

Here is what I thought of it:

  • Way too short
  • Duels in the original Yu-Gi-Oh series went for episodes on end, this one lasted 10 minutes
  • They shouldn't have all been playing against him at the same time
This is coming from a guy that watched Yu-Gi-Oh's first and second series all the time through and through. Then Yu-Gi-Oh GX came out, it sucked, so I lost all hope and didn't continue on with 5D's. So yeah, 6/10, good concept, badly executed.
