"Yeah..." Zidane murmured. "They don't call it Lindblum Grand Castle for nothing."

Steiner looked quite amazed.

"An indoor airship dock!" he exclaimed. "This is truly amazing...! Even her Majesty's Red Rose would easily fit in here."

Zidane chuckled, before turning to Dagger. His grin became an expression of confusion as he saw her face.

"...Dagger, you don't look too impressed..." he pointed out. "Have you been here before?"

The Elite Guard raised his other eyebrow.

"You must be kidding! No member of the royal family, let alone a princess, would ever ride in such a shabby airship."

"And look at the company you're keeping."

Steiner gave an enraged growl. Zidane for once remained quiet.

"How dare you accuse the princess of lying!?" the knight yelled. "The princess was forced to come here under extreme circumstances!"

The Elite Guard merely shrugged, not really believing him.

"Well..." he muttered. "Then show me some kind of proof of your royal heritage."

The Elite Guard widened his eyes.

"This pendant...is it a Falcon Claw!?" he exclaimed. "...No. The shape is a little different. Call Minister Artania!"

One of his guards instantly raced off to get the minister, while the Elite Guard continued to look at the pendant. Steiner took this opportunity to turn to Zidane.

"You!" he boomed, glaring. "If you weren't such a filthy-looking oaf, they would not be so suspicious of us!"

Zidane shook his head and shrugged.

"Hey..." he countered. "I'm not the idiot with the loud voice, and the dirty, rusty armor."

Steiner's eyes bulged out of his head.

"WHAT!!!?"

"What is going on?"

Dagger looked over as a older looking man came into the room, and talked to the guards, as he seemed a bit shocked as the pendent was brought into the conversation, as she smiled gently at the softer expression that was visible in his eyes.

"You are dismissed. I'll take care of this."

Once the guards had ran off, she was the first one to race over to him, obviously seeming to recognize him as she called out his name.

"Uncle Artania!"

"It's good to see you, Princess. Please follow me. The regent is waiting."

Dagger looked a little confused, but began to follow beside him anyway.

Vivi followed beside Zidane and Steiner, looking around at everything in the meantime, finding the place amazing.

Artania led them onto the lift that would take them to the upper floor where they would see the regent.

There was a lecture of what each floor held, like the Middle was connected to the cars that allowed travel through the city, the Industrial, Bussiness and Theatre Disctrics.

The Base Floor which held the Dragon and the Serpent's Gates for either boat(which isn't used much cause of airships) and travel on foot.

And the Upper Level where the Regent resides.

Vivi was looking down from the sides of the lift, for someone who was afraid of heights, he seemed to stare down at the ground from high up a lot.

"Sire, Princess Garnet of Alexandria wishes to see you."

Said the man as he entered the throne room, and then allowed the group into the room as well.

Dagger was the first into the throne room, as she gave a respectful bow to the man she once remembered when she was younger, but as she looked up, she found that she couldn't see anyone on the throne and it confused here.

Vivi felt his cheeks burn up a little, as he hesitantly let go of Zidane's hand, only to be greeted with someone yelling 'OOGLOP!' really loudly.

The said ooglop had been thrown into the throne halfway across the room, a little 'What?' escaping it as Artania cried out his name from getting punched by Steiner.

"Wow... Even the oglops are big in Lindblum."

Vivi had followed beside Zidane after the older had rushed off like he did.

Dagger was busy staring at the ooglop as Steiner was yelling about this insult and getting the actual regent in the room.

"Please, settle down! You ARE before the regent!"

Artania called to Steiner, holding him back.

Dagger was staring at the ooglop, seeing a familiar moustache on his face.

"Steiner, stand down... I recognize that moustache... is that you, Uncle Cid?"

"Yes. Greetings, all <gwok>. I am Cid Fabool, Regent of Lindblum. I knew it was you - I recognized your pendant's description; it's so much like my 'Falcon Claw.' I'm delighted to see you again, Garnet. You have truly <gwok> become a fine lady. I, on the other hand..."

"Allow me to explain." Artania spoke up to get their attention and shock away from Cid for a moment, "About six months ago, someone snuck into the castle and attacked the regent in his sleep. Unfortunately, we were too late...The regent had been transformed into an oglop, and his wife, Lady Hilda, was abducted."

"My goodness..." Dagger gasped.

Vivi was still watching in awe... first a scary blue skinned queen and now a bug for a ruler... is there anything he hadn't found odd about the main kingdoms of the world?

"That's not possible."

"Do you know who he is?"

Vivi asked, seeming a little surprised that Cid sounded so sure.

"Of course. I may be a bug <gwok>, but I am still the ruler of Lindblum."

"Uncle Cid, I appreciate you seeing me on such short notice. I desperately need to speak to you about my mother."

Cid gave a small nod, thought seeming rather troubled about the subject.

"That's what I figured. But I'm sure it can wait ‘til tomorrow. Why don't you all get some rest for today?"

"Thank you."

"It is time for lunch. Please follow me."

Artania bowed and led the way for them to get something to eat after their long journey.

A small growl coming from Vivi's stomach left him unable to resist following after him, along with the others
