Conker
So as you all know, the remake features "new" voice acting. Yeah, that's a lie. If you listen closely, every voice over heard in the various trailers are just the same exact voice files from the original, but only cleaned up and their pitch is slightly raised. I personally believe they would sound better cleaned up, and... that's all. The increased pitch makes them sound weird. :/
Malqua
OFF TOPIC: DO A BARREL ROLL! If I ever get a 3DS, this game is like, 4th on my to-get list. If you wanted to know my to-get list: Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater 3D Edition Star Fox 64 3DS Date of Release more heavily influences the list. AKA, I'll probably be getting LoZ before KH, because KH won't be done for another 4 years and a set back.
Zurg
It's a shame they raised the pitches of the voice actors, it takes away some nostalgia, they should have just left the sound the way it was like in Ocarina of Time 3D.
Shadow Fire
They would have had to supply a new line for Peppy, when he says how to barrel roll. "To barrel roll, press Z or R twice." There is no Z button on the 3DS.
Conker
True, but it would not be so hard to mimic a voice with the way they updated all the others(hell, even without it is still easy to find people good at mimicing the original voice). Or maybe they are not ALL the same, but I know for a fact that almost all voices heard in the trailers are the exact same, only cleaned up with higher pitches. Although, I never heard Peppy's new voice. Never payed attention in the trailers, but my friend told me he has a new accent. Anybody notice it? Shadow Fire
From what I heard in the demo version, his voice is completely different. They all have different voices from the original.
Conker
Well, I dunno. Everything I heard in the trailers is the same, pretty much, but with some alterations. But who knows, I could be wrong here. But I have a big feeling I can recreate these "new" voices with a simple audio editor and rips of the originals. Still, I may very well be wrong. Okami Takahashi
From what I read, all the voices in SF643D are in fact the original cast brought back together, which brings me to an interesting point... The voice actor of Star Wolf in SF64 is Rick Mays, who also provided the voice for the loveable and possibly crazy TF2 class member: The Soldier! Coincidentally, the voice actor of TF2's Engineer Class, Grant Goodeve, provided the voice for Star Wolf in Star Fox Assault.
Conker
Meh. Then I'm wrong. Fine. Although, nobody can blame me for thinking it if they watched the trailers, as well. Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
