Zeth Ryder
This is something that has peaked my curiosity for a while and hopefully one of our more skilled in ASM hackers would be able to look into attempting this. I've been wondering if it is possible to load up the 64DD error messages that are located in Ocarina of Time 1.0? There error messages definitely exist in english and its been proven to have the game load up the disk icon next to the title and file select so this should be possibly feasible as well? Also another curious thought and wonder if anyone ever looked into it, why does all the Zelda roms N64 wise load up the Nintendo 64 3D logo before the game but the MQ Debug rom does not? Would it be possible to re-enable it? I know MM's debug rom has it, so why shouldn't MQ? I know the 3D logo can be found in the rom, it just goes unused. xdaniel
The N64 logo has simply been covered up and the delay until the intro sequence starts set really low, so you can still see it for a split second if you run the game in wireframe. Also, seeing how the other GCN rereleases also had their N64 logos covered like this, I assume that's just what they did for those releases. Zeth Ryder
Really? I couldn't see it via wireframe, no wireframes showed up til Hyrule field. o.o
xdaniel
It definately does appear, but it literally only does so for a split second, and not even always... I just tried it 10 or so times total, half of which it didn't appear or only the lower third or so showed up.

Zeth Ryder
Weird, the code doesn't work for me. o.o
spinout
It doesn't do much good, it just makes the game hang there with a broken N64 logo. I'm working on a much better full ASM hack right now.
Twili
Since at least November 7th, somebody has been working on 64DD support for MESS. Proof: http://pastebin.com/Jsgp0H1M Just thought I'd share. He plans to use the code in other emulators.
