Diversity Visa Program

So yeah... it's no surprise that I wanna move to the US. I mean, I've already changed my country flag to USA for a while now. Anyway, earlier this year, I submitted myself for the Diversity Visa Program, also commonly known as the Green Card Lottery, in which every year, approx 50,000 visas are granted for people to be able to live in the United States. I just got an email back now... and I'm kinda nervous now. :D

Dear <my name>,

we have just achieved your registration to the DV-2013 lottery. Here is your confirmation message:

Entrant Name: <my name>

Confirmation Number: <confirmation number>

Year of Birth: 1985 (yeah, I'm 26)

Digital Signature: <stuffz>

You must retain your confirmation number in order to check your entry status using the internet. You may check at this link http://www.dvlottery.state.gov/ESC/between May 1, 2012 and April 30, 2013 to determine whether your entry was selected for further processing in the 2013 DV Lottery. You will be required to enter your confirmation number in combination with other personal information in order to check on your entry status.

Good luck!

Sincerely,

<person's name>

Sweet! Good luck! America's a great place, man. Lotsa varied culture there. Personally, I wanna move to Alaska so I can enjoy snow all-year round! xD

California is also a sweet place. The desert-y areas of the U.S. are really cool in my opinion, so go there if you like warm climates. Florida is also pretty cool if you want an American-ized Australia! :D

I would recommend staying out of LA and New York though, as it is impossible to drive in the streets due to traffic, not to mention whenever crap happens in the U.S., they are magnets to street gangsters or terrorist attacks. Washington too, is a problem area because of the constant protests.

Anyways, I really respect legal immigrants because they earned the right to be part of the country instead of a lot of bozos we see today who ignore outright basic science!
