Lishy
Hey guys. I didn't know any other places to put this thread. Anyone have an .obj for Link's boomerang model? Thanks!
0 alphaheiti
http://sketchup.goog...20d&prevstart=0 not an obj but you can easy make it into one
0 SanguinettiMods
From OoT? I can get it, although it'd be untextured. But I'll have to get back to my own computer
0 Arcaith
Yeah, I don't think the OOT boomerang actually uses textures at all. I think it's all vertex colours.
0 Lishy
I don't mind. I want to use it as a base for my own boomerang model. Does it really only use vertex colors though? It seemed so detailed when you got it from the chest...
0 Okami Amaterasu
The one you get from a chest is a separate model. It's a lot more high-poly and such. I could probably get the in-game model (the one Link uses anyway, not the one from a chest) and come up with some textures if some programs I have still work. Or I could just copy the model used and texture it. Either or.
0 Lishy
Both would be nice. n64 models make really great bases for more complex models! If you can also get it in the sketchup format, I would appreciate it too! Thanks!!!
0 Okami Amaterasu
Done. The program didn't work, sadly. So I just made the models. http://www.filedropper.com/boomerang There's both the high poly version (That you see when Link is holding it) and the low poly version. (That you see when he throws it)
0 SanguinettiMods
For one, Most GI models are one texture colored with FA commands. I believe the Boomerang is similar. Also, when I get around to getting the model, It would be the correct size and Rotation to be imported.
0 Lishy
Thank you! (Now to get it to work in Team Fortress 2 and learn how to code a boomerang concept weapon...)
0 SanguinettiMods
I'll get around to Link holding the boomerang later, here is the GI boomerang, fresh from the game. http://www.mediafire.com/?fp63izb06jer5tn P.S. That's a .3ds Sketchup can import .3ds files.
