Does anyone have a display list VIDEO tutorial?

Question

I have been wanting to learn how to display port for some time now and I cannot figure it out.I first tried by following a tutorial on Flotonic's site about 3 times but I failed every time due to the fact the some parts were not specific enough in my opinion. Bottom line is, does anyone have or can make a step by step video tutorial on how to do this because I learn better with visuals? If you can in the tutorial show how to port the Biggoron Sword over the Master Sword for the example due to the fact that is the first thing I want to try.

old video. I'm going to make a new series of what I know how to do soon. Keep up to date!

If anything, that one, because it actually explains what I am doing.

Also, to port the Biggoron's Sword over the master sword, all you have to do is.

Paste Write ( Ctrl+B )

DE 00 00 00 06 02 38 C8

DF 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

At 0x21F78 and 0x27078 in object_link_boy.zobj and then paste the newly created object_link_boy.zobj at 0x00FDC000 in the Debug ROM.

Technically, it's not really a port, since Adult Link already has the sword in his file.

Does it matter that the tutorial is a MM to OOT display port or is it the same concept?

P.S Thanks for the Biggoron Sword over the Master Sword, I did not know is was that easy :D

I just started watching the video and I understand everything so far :D

I would stray away from this method, SanguinettiMods, as it ruins the original display list. Why not just change a few of these pointers?

Oh yeah, spinout. ;) I forgot about that. I was teaching him the method I originally used.

Yeah, it sure is the same concept! ;)

Forget it, I got lost :D

Guess I will never be able to figure it out :D

Come on. What kind of attitude is that? You never learn these things quickly. The only reason most of us who "can hack" know anything at all is through slow development of knowledge. Do you have a solid understanding of what hexadecimal is? Do you understand the way bytes all relate to eachother? If not, it's ok. Where are you getting lost? Nobody can help you if you can't tell them where you're struggling.

Well thanks for being nice about it and the problem I'm having is when the tutorial says to find the highest and lowest of the 01 commands and the FD commands I have no idea how to find them. The second thing is at 11:25 of that video and beyond I'm like :D especially at 12:00 because he starts typing a bunch of things like "Display List", "Vertex" and I have no idea where that came from.

Are you watching the one alphaheiti gave you or the one I linked you to? The one alphaheiti gave you shows me porting the Stalfos sword, but In that video I didn't give an explination. The one I linked you to should be everything (very roughly) you need.

I watched the one you linked me that is like 23 minutes long and called "Porting a display list from Majora's Mask to Ocarina of Time"
