SanguinettiMods
So, yeah, the title explains it. I was testing out SharpOcarina's capabilities when I wanted to see if it could convert Display lists. I saves a new scene as a .zmap and I did some things from there. Eventually, this was my result:
Malqua
So you made the Fenrir Keyblade replace the Master Sword? If that's not it, then I don't really see what else is going on. And if it is it, you should show me how to do that. >_>

xdaniel
Well, pretty much everything's made of DLists in terms of graphics on the N64, so - while it's not meant to do it - it's no surprise that SharpOcarina can be used for this.
Zeth Ryder
Xdan, wouldn't it be possible to modify Sharp Ocarina's code to have a program do this? I would think it wouldn't be hard to do it since it honestly doesn't need all the extras and whistles that maps and scenes do.
xdaniel
Zeth, I started doing just that a while ago but didn't really work on it all that much. Might as well pick that up again, seeing how there's some demand for it and all that.
Okami Amaterasu
I'd be interested in something like that, as none of the available programs like to work for me.
spinout
I feel like all my code goes unused because I write command line applications.
Okami Amaterasu
I tried your programs and they either didn't make a proper bin file, or the output made the game crash. I'm also not good with command-line applications.

I just thought I'd try something new. Converting a .zmap to a .zobj.
john_smith_account
I feel like all my code goes unused because I write command line applications. Not true. A good deal of us built maps with Obj2Area.
spinout
I'm talking about objn64tool.
Zeth Ryder
I'm talking about objn64tool. Oh shit you got it to work on Windows? Last time when I tried compiling it I got error after error, so that's been fixed? *feels like he missed this somehow*
ZOMGpurple
I still wish you'd send me that patch.
xdaniel
I'm talking about objn64tool. This is the reason why I didn't work on my converter all that much - there's already one that works perfectly well and probably better than mine. Also, mine was meant to be command line-only as well, so no advantages there either.
Okami Amaterasu
I tried to use that one too, Spinout, but I couldn't figure out what to do with the bin file. I also had trouble getting the arguments correct...
spinout
Did you ask for any help/provide any feedback? I'd be glad to help people use my programs.
Okami Amaterasu
No, I actually never thought to do either of them.
